A human’s guide to the future

Dr Jordan will share his unique perspective on the role of technology in shaping our collective future, with focus on advancements applicable to sustainable seafood production and distribution.

Drawing upon his extensive experience and research, he will illuminate innovations in cutting-edge technologies from numerous use cases in AI to robotics to genetics/genomics research, and much more –  open your minds to potential ways the seafood industry could be revolutionised – driving efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.

Women in Seafood Australasia is thrilled to introduce Lucy Bloom as guest speaker at the Power Up breakfast on Thursday 12 September at the 2024 Seafood Directions Conference.

Lucy is an award-winning leader and speaker. She’s a change-maker, exceptional communicator, and business fixer with the best mohawk in the business. Lucy led an advertising agency for 20 years before she became the CEO of a brand-new women’s health organisation, funding a network of hospitals and a midwifery school in Ethiopia. She then went on to transform a Cambodian children’s charity as its first CEO. You will find her challenging and entertaining in equal measure, with humour tied into a powerful business message. Lucy Bloom is a rule-breaker, idea-maker and momentum creator.

National Seafood Industry Awards Gala Dinner

The seafood industry’s night-of-nights, including the announcement of the 2024 National Seafood Industry Awards and Hall of Fame inductions. Full conference, early-bird, student, and emerging leader registration holders have a seat at the event included with their registration.
